Course: Sandyhills Golf Club
Location: Glasgow
Brief description: Attractive 18 hole parkland course on the east side of Glasgow, self contained and quietly challenging.
What to expect of the course: Straight hitting and some strategy required. Well maintained and set on a sloping site with tree lined fairways, a historic burn and well protected greens. Some blind shots but these would ask fewer questions on a second visit.
What to expect of the overall visit: An impressive, welcoming clubhouse with great views over the course. Parking is a little limited but overflow parking is available. Catering and bar services are excellent. This course will quickly grow on visiting golfers with a friendly clubhouse to enjoy after play.
