Course: Strathendrick Golf Club
Location: Drymen
Brief description: In the shadow of Buchanan Castle Golf Club, this wee beauty should not be bypassed. A small but adequate car park where you can change if the clubhouse is closed. Pay at the honesty box if the clubhouse is closed.
What to expect of the course: A lovely course that maximises the use of the terrain and hazards are mostly natural. Its only 9 holes, but 9 very different holes where heather, trees, water and rough all protect the smallish greens.
What to expect of the overall visit: Like many 9 hole courses, this is another that is simply delightful. The overriding feeling after playing at Strathendrick, is how enjoyable the course is, and what wonderful scenery there is. It's tranquil, pretty and a joy to play.
