Ralston

Course:    Ralston Golf Club

Location:   Ralston, Paisley

Brief description:  Designed by Willie Fernlie and James Braid, the course has fine views of the city of Glasgow. Mature trees and natural contours abound. A challenging parkland course kept in great condition with particularly good par 3s.

What to expect of the course: The course starts with a challenging first hole and goes on to impress. The 8th is another tester. The par 3s are all different and keep players on their toes. Fairways are generous but straight hitting is still required. There will be no problem with course condition, so it it is all down to the golfer.

What to expect of the overall visit: Ralston is a fine golf club. It is a testing but rewarding course; it has a beautiful clubhouse; great pro shop and friendly welcoming atmosphere. A club with interesting history and great social activity. It has good practice facilities which means that golfers should be well prepared to play this gem hidden away so close to Glasgow Centre. Pop in and give Ralston a try.
