Prestwick St Cuthberts

Course:  Prestwick St Cuthbert Golf Club

Location:   Prestwick, Ayrshire

Brief description:  An 18 hole parkland course formed in the 1960s after the original layout was lost to Prestwick Airport. It has nine dog legged holes and excellent large greens.

What to expect of the course: A course renowned for being in excellent condition, especially its greens. The course is well layer out with doglegs in both directions creating interest. It is nice and flat and an easy walk. It is a challenge, however, and needs to be played accurately.

What to expect of the overall visit: The club is well sign posted and easy to find. It is served by a great car park. The staff in the pro shop are both helpful and welcoming. The clubhouse staff are cheerful and welcoming too. The F&B are very good.

St Cuthbert may lie in the shadow of more famous neighbours but will surprise visitors with its qualities in greens and staff friendliness.
