Brief description: Parking is plentiful and around 300 yards from the clubhouse and 1st tee. Dr Alister Mackenzie designed this course which has his signature of tricky greens and water features maximised.
What to expect of the course: The opening 2 holes are par 5's where the 2nd may yield less than par, whilst 5 at the 1st is quite acceptable. Danger lurks everywhere on this shortish but challenging course. Managing the greens is the key to this course as some have challenging slopes which can gives you nightmares.
What to expect of the overall visit: A modest green fee for a good course and a friendly clubhouse make this a worthwhile visit. Its a good traditional course where you can easily be tricked into thinking it easier than it really is.
