Dumfries & County

Course: Dumfries and County Golf Club
Location: Dumfries
Brief description: An 18 hole, Willie Fernlie designed, parkland course of quality. It’s greens are renowned as fast and true and the course is undulating and well manicured.
What to expect of the course: ‘The County’ starts with a hole which is conscious of neighbouring houses and a public footpath. There are several blind tee and approach shots where players need to be aware of other golfers. These thoughts should not detract from what is a very good golf course; a pleasure to play.
What to expect of the overall visit: A welcoming clubhouse with excellent, value for money F&B.
A friendly, well stocked and equipped pro shop.
A pretty and testing course of which it’s members are rightly proud.
