Course:    Mains of Taymouth

Location:   Kenmore

Brief description:  Part of a holiday resort, with parking, accommodation and a very good pub nearby on the resort. Check in at the reception which is en route to the 1st tee.

What to expect of the course: 9 lovely holes set amongst woodland above the River Tay offer a different challenge at each hole. For a resort course it deserves great credit for being an interesting course rather than an add on to accommodation. Its no pushover and very enjoyable for all levels of golfer.

What to expect of the overall visit: Its a wee bit different as you check in at a purpose built reception and not the standard clubhouse or Pro Shop. A little disjointed as post golf you could go to the pub, which is very good, but its not got the golf mood that you often expect at a golf club.
