Course: Lochgelly
Location: Lochgelly, Fife
Brief description: A beautifully presented parkland course located in the heart of Fife with stunning views of the Ochil and Lomond hills.
What to expect of the course: After a straightforward Par 5, followed by the toughest hole on the course, things get really interesting from the 3rd onwards with lots of twists and turns that demand your full concentration. This is a tricky course, it does demand good course management, but it’s really fun to play if you use your head.
What to expect of the overall visit: There’s plenty of parking at the clubhouse, and a small, well-stocked pro shop. The clubhouse was open from 10am to 2pm on our visit, so an early tee-time is recommended to enjoy this exciting course and make it back for what was a superb lunch. Everything about Lochgelly was unpretentious, good quality, and amazing value for money.
