Lamlash

Course:  Lamlash Golf Club

Location:   Lamlash, Isle of Arran

Brief description:  The oldest course on Arran. Enjoy beautiful views over Lamlash Bay to Holy Isle. The course is only 4,500 yards but there are testing par 3s and tricky par 4s. Lamlash is hugely enjoyable to play.

What to expect of the course: Built on a sloping site, this 18 holes is a refreshing challenge with testing holes and beautiful views. Views mean hilly fairways but Lamlash is worth the effort. There are a couple of long par 3s and some blind shots but the final hole is a beauty, requiring a well placed tee shot and accurate approach.

What to expect of the overall visit: A limited but adequate car park awaits. Report to the clubhouse which is a cosy and welcoming place. Enjoy the course then visit the clubhouse for great F&B and more views of the 18th green and Lamlash Bay.

Lamlash might not impress everyone but in our experience, golfers mostly return as it is a refreshing, honest, welcoming experience.
