Location: Kingussie, Speyside
Brief description: Part park and part heath and woodland
the course is 5500 yards with wonderful views of the Cairngorm Mountains. The course was designed by Old Tom Morris with some revision by Harry Vardon.
What to expect of the course: This 18 hole hillside course, has blind shots, risks, rewards, burns, heather, trees and views galore. Not the longest, but tricky and needs some delicate play around the greens.
What to expect of the overall visit: Any visit to Speyside should include Kingussie. Its different from the others as it has its own style combined with bits that remind you of the Boat of Garten and Grantown on Spey. Well worth a play.
