Invergordon

 Course: Invergordon Golf Club

 Location: Invergordon, Easter Ross.

Brief description: 18 hole parkland course, several holes set in the grounds of the former Invergordon Castle.

What to expect of the course: Invergordon is a lovely course set among fine mature trees on handsome ground. The 1st Hole is a Par 3, followed by several lovely holes through trees. The course opens out later but trees play their part. The course is a good mixture of straight holes and doglegs. The last is an uphill challenge but by no means the best hole on the course.

What to expect of the overall visit: Check in at the unassuming clubhouse. Very little of the course can be seen from the car park but be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. The clubhouse is a friendly, welcoming place and the course is well worth playing.
