Course: The Hirsel Golf Club

Location: Coldstream, Berwickshire.

Brief description: 18 holes of traditional parkland set in part of the Hirsel Estate. It is a lovely place to enjoy golf.

What to expect of the course: The course sets many challenges starting at the dog leg first hole. The course is undulating and holes are played in every direction. There are some blind tee shots or approach shots but the course is very fair. 

Enjoy the 10th hole in particular.

What to expect of the overall visit: Check in at the friendly, helpful pro shop. Parking is very good and the clubhouse is modern, friendly, comfortable, producing excellent F&B.

The golf course is set in beautiful grounds and asks good questions of golfers of all abilities. A hidden Borders gem.
