Hamilton

Course: Hamilton Golf Club

Location: Hamilton

Brief description: Hamilton is an excellent parkland course, where it captures your imagination from the outset.  Mature trees define a grand layout and offer a very fair test to all golfers.

What to expect of the course: A stunning visual experience awaits. With the exception of only a few holes at the top of the course, every hole is lined by mature trees where errant golf shots are punished, but not lost. Accuracy is helpful and with large greens offering generous landing areas, you can often be found some distance from the hole. Every hole is wonderful to play where some offer rewards for the lion hearted.

What to expect of the overall visit: A large car park, which is undergoing renovation, with a very welcoming pro and clubhouse team make this a very friendly experience. Nothing is too much trouble. You cannot help but want to play this superb golf course where deer and red squirrels can brighten the odd day when the clubs aren't working. If that's not enough then the fayre on offer in the clubhouse, at very reasonable prices, will certainly make you return to this very fine and vastly under rated venue!
