Location:   Foulford Inn, Sma’ Glen, by Crieff

Brief description:  Par 3 Heaven. Set in a Perthshire Glen, Foulford has scenery, tranquility, wildlife and a very well cared for and loved golf course. It is pretty and tricky so bring your best short game and enjoy.

What to expect of the course: The course is meant for the enjoyment of guests at the Inn’s self catering accommodation, but games can be arranged by contacting the owners. The course is a fun-packed unnerving holes of par threes, all very different. Uphill, downhill, across hill with a pond and lovely views. If you are lucky, you might see any of the local wildlife which really can make the visit extra special.

What to expect of the overall visit: Park your car beside the former roadside inn and report there. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and rightly proud of their wee gem. The course does not take long to play, so take your time and enjoy the whole experience which may stay in your mind for a long time.
