Dunning

Course:    Dunning

Location:   Dunning

Brief description:  Set in parkland, this 9 hole beauty, is not long, but trouble is easy to find. Parking aplenty and a 'dry' clubhouse that is very comfortable pre and post golf. Check in at the clubhouse or use the honesty box/Scottish Golf App.

What to expect of the course: Not long, but trouble is easy to find - for instance, the 1st hole entices the driver but anywhere other than straight and you've started badly! Relatively flat and pleasant to play, with small greens, a sneaky wee bit of water, small bunkers and tough rough, make accuracy the best club in your bag.

What to expect of the overall visit: A tremendously popular course in the shadow of Gleneagles will leave you feeling good about golf. Colin Montgomerie lives locally and occasionally enjoys a round over this course.
