Glenbervie

Course:  Glenbervie Golf Club

Location:   Glenbervie, Larbert

Brief description:  Perched above the roadway, Glenbervie clubhouse sits magnificently and guards the tremendous 18 hole course that awaits. Good parking, easy to access and a well stocked Pro Shop. the clubhouse lounge has a vista over the course and beyond that is worth the visit.

What to expect of the course: 18 very good golf holes that require every club in the bag. A parkland course where you may think you can hit the ball a little wildly and be forgiven...wrong. The rough is tough, the trees here appear to have more branches than air, in contrast to the common belief. There's c. 400 yards difference from the white and yellow tees, so choose where you play from carefully. It is picturesque, stunning in places and always a challenge to every category of golfer.

What to expect of the overall visit: You will be well received and well treated and you will surely enjoy the views from the clubhouse. It is a great golf course for group outings and is never a pushover of a course. Once played, you will want to return, even if to conquer the 18th as you work your way up gradually, to a hole that never gives a par that easily.
