Dragons Tooth

Course:    Dragons Tooth  Golf Club

Location:   Ballachullish, Glencoe

Brief description:  In an area not synonymous with golf, this 9 hole course is set amongst a glut of action and adventure opportunities. There is lots to do here, good parking, a cafe and of course a lovely wee 9 hole course that overlooks the nearby Lochs Leven and Linnhe. Dragons Tooth is a name derived from a local feature in the mountains of Glencoe and the 4th hole is named after this as well.

What to expect of the course: This is a very good 9 hole golf course that is well worth a visit. It can be wet but it drains very well. Set amongst woodlands, in the shadow of the towering mountains of Glencoe and with Loch views if you are visiting the north west of Scotland, make sure and stop here for a couple of hours of golf followed by a good snack.

What to expect of the overall visit: Probably surprise at how good this is. Whichever way you come to this area its hills, lochs, rivers, waterfalls adjacent to the road. This oasis of tranquility and leisure has been cleverly thought out and delivers a very good golf course which is no pushover.
