Course: Downfield Golf Club
Location: Dundee
Brief description: North of the Kingsway, this course in the area of Downfield on the outskirts of Dundee is utterly majestic. Having hosted many national events it can genuinely claim to be a championship course. The green fee is modest and the course is excellent - a great combination.
What to expect of the course: 18 great holes wind their way through trees, over burns and streams and offer you the chance to 'go for it' over the water at the 11th or round the corner at the 16th. A really good track, well kept and thoroughly enjoyable. You will not be disappointed!
What to expect of the overall visit: Without doubt a fans favourite. The staff at the club put you at ease with glorious F&B in a clubhouse that overlooks the 1st, 9th and 10th. If you've played Downfield you'll understand, if not you'll play it and want to go back. Great value.
