Brief description: 9 holes set into the hillside on the east of Cupar and widely acclaimed to be the oldest 9 hole course in the world.
What to expect of the course: After a gentle opening there's a steady climb to the top of the course which has the most expansive views in the area. Working your way back down to the clubhouse and a gentle finish makes it all worthwhile. The quaint clubhouse has ye old worlde charm that you might expect of the oldest 9 hole course in the world.
What to expect of the overall visit: More or less run by volunteers and few greenstaff, this course serves the local community very well. It's great fun to play and then sit and enjoy the views.
