Crail

 Crail Golfing Society (Balcomie)

Location: Fife (East coast)

Brief description: The 7th oldest course in the world. The 1st tee is next to the clubhouse and offers a gentle par 4 to open, at least it looks that way. A great mixture of golf holes confined to a remarkably small area.

What to expect of the course: It may be shortish but it has teeth. Sea views, risk and reward tee shots, a challenge for every golfer and a very fair test of golf. You will only enjoy this course!

What to expect of the overall visit: Report in at the well stocked Pro Shop where you will be pleasantly received. The clubhouse has breathtaking views across the River Tay and the North Sea. Everything about this place is pleasant and once there, as it is a fiddly drive, you won't want to leave.

Open Golf Competitions

Crail Golfing Society (Craighead)

Location: Fife (East coast)

Brief description: Less than 30 years old, this addition to Crail Golfing Society offers a full days golf for those who want to try 2 very different courses at the one venue.

What to expect of the course: Generous fairways and tricky greens make it a great golf experience. If you have both on song then you might win! Different from Balcomie as its longer and needs a little more plotting and a tremendous test.

What to expect of the overall visit: Report in at the well stocked Pro Shop where you will be pleasantly received. The clubhouse has breathtaking views across the River Tay and the North Sea. Everything about this place is pleasant and once there, as it is a fiddly drive, you won't want to leave.
