Craigiehill

 Course:  Craigiehill Golf Club

Location:  Perth. (The course can be seen from bypass)

Brief description:18 hole parkland course, set, as it’s name suggests, on a hill overlooking Perth and the River Tay.

What to expect of the course: Craigie Hill has a reputation for being a tough walk but do not let that stop you visiting. There are some uphill holes but most of the play is along the slopes. There are several blind tee shots but marker poles help. The greens are fast and true and well maintained. The par 3s are memorable.

What to expect of the overall visit: Check in at starter’s building beside first tee. Be prepared for a good walk up the hill playing holes which are not long but need care and respect. Enjoy the greens and the views. The clubhouse is a friendly place with good catering and a happy atmosphere.
