Castle Stuart

Course:     Castle Stuart

Location:   Inverness (3 miles east)

Brief description:  One of the newest additions to the stadium courses in Scotland, host to the Scottish Open on several occasions and deservingly so. Lots of parking and a very warm welcome, before entering possibly the best clubhouse in the country.

What to expect of the course: An utterly stunning golf course. Almost every hole overlooks the Moray Firth. It's generous yet challenging, offers opportunities and danger - it has the lot! The short 3rd hole (par 4) with the infinity green catches many who try and beat the hole with the driver. Just be careful here and enjoy every moment you are out there.

What to expect of the overall visit: Everything about Castle Stuart is top drawer. The welcome, the clubhouse, the food and the way you are looked after. The course is outstanding and had this course been slight further south in the central belt of Scotland it would be hosting event after event. Shear excellence!
