Buchanan Castle

Course: Buchanan Castle Golf Club
Location: Drymen
Brief description: 18 hole parkland course in a beautiful expansive setting.
What to expect of the course: Some great driving holes from the start and all the way round. Well bunkered and challenging. It can get a little wet after prolonged rain but a bonny place to play golf.
What to expect of the overall visit: After driving through the estate gates, a long drive past impressive houses helps fill visitors with expectation. The first view of the imposing clubhouse furthers those thoughts. A pre game coffee and bacon roll can be enjoyed in very comfortable surroundings. Outside and through the wall to the pro shop, very much in keeping with the whole set up. Good practice/tuition facilities are available. It really is an impressive set up.
